Mission Statement: This grove is a natural oak woodland. It is located in the San Joaquin Valley which has a Mediterranean climate. The primary focus of the Nature Center programs is on local wildlife, their native habitats, and the early residents of the oak grove, specifically the Miwok and Yokuts tribes. The Nature Center offers many activities throughout the Spring and Summer including events and learning stations. In the Fall and Winter the Trails remain open; however, the Center activities are limited due to the weather.
