Type of Environmental Education Provider: School (PreK-12)

Mission Statement: California Safe Schools worked with LAUSD school district in creating the most stringent pesticide policy in the nation. The IPM (Integrated Pest Management Policy) has become a model for school districts and communities nationwide. In addition, California Safe Schools is working on indoor-outdoor air quality, nutrition in schools, and in general ensuring the safest environment for children, teachers, staff and community members who live near school sites.
