Each module consists of a student guide and teacher guide, the latter offering assessment tasks, concept maps, teaching strategies, resources, and bibliography. For the purpose of this compendium, the following modules were evaluated: A New World View (Teacher's Guide [2001, 30 p.] and Student Guide [2001, 75 p.]), Ecosystem Change (Student Guide [2001, 84 p.]), Human Population Impact (Student Guide [2001, 82 p.]) and Losing Biodiversity (older version of Teacher's Guide [1996, 84 p.] and Student Guide [2001, 112 p.]).
