Description:  A secondary-level curriculum, Conservation Biology explores the concept of biological diversity (and the consequences of human activity) using research techniques, debate, scientific methodology, analysis of case studies, and field investigations organized into seven activities. The Teacher's Guide (1996, 265 p., $54.99) presents lesson plans, the focus and purpose of each lesson, overhead masters, answer keys, tests, and extensive background information. The Student Guide (1996, 83 p., $19.99) offers readings, discussion questions, worksheets, and activities. Conservation Biology is designed according to recommendations of Project 2061 Science for All Americans.
