Description:  Living Lightly on the Planet is part of a K—12 environmental education curriculum of activities designed to increase an awareness about the world in which students live and help them develop an environmental ethic. Activities in Volume II (1995 second edition, 206 p.) help secondary level students investigate consumer choices and the use of natural resources, and understand the interaction between human demand for resources and global environmental problems.
