The state science standards are reviewed to determine how best our program can meet some of the requirements and tailor it to be interesting to the teacher and student. There is a one-hour in-class presentation and an associated field trip. Teachers can select field trips associated with the grade emphasis, such as the 5th grade water conservation emphasis can select from a field trip to the water treatment plant or a field trip to Lake Herman.
