Type of Environmental Education Provider: City Gov't

Mission Statement: The City of Berkeley Marina Experience Programs include the Shorebird Nature Center and the Adventure Playground. The Nature Center educates and addresses environmental problems directly related to the San Francisco Bay Estuary. This includes teaching personal responsibility in order to protect and preserve the Bay. The Adventure Playground gives children from diverse backgrounds a stimulating and challenging environment in which to play and build creatively.
