The curriculum is high student interest, promotes teamwork, cooperation and builds self-esteem. Students participate in activities including snowshoeing, building snow caves, playing avalanche transceiver 'hide and seek', and using a compass. Donner Trail School, located on the banks of the Yuba River with our average annual snowfall of 20 feet, provides a beautiful natural setting for for this outdoor education experience.
