Description: Environmental Action: Habitat and Biodiversity is one in a series of six project-based learning modules designed to promote personal responsibility and positive action among 6—12 grade students. The Teacher Resource Guide (1998, 158 p.) provides blackline masters, background information, and instructions on how to investigate the school campus, develop and implement a plan for collecting and recording data, recommend changes in practices and participate in community service activities related to habitat enhancement and biodiversity protection. The Student Edition (1998, 103 p.) offers activities and activity sheets, discussion questions, vocabulary necessary to implement each stage of Environmental Action. Assessment tools are included.
