Organizational InformationType of Environmental Education Provider: Not for Profit Mission Statement: The Children's Discovery Museum offers activity sets for pre-field trip use in the classroom. Specific exhibit areas, such as Waterworks and Kids' Garden, provide opportunities. Outreach Programs bring to your classroom activities which combine science, language arts, and other disciplines with problem-solving experience. The Children's Discovery Museum currently directs the BioSITE (Students Investigating Their Environment) program, combining water quality research with an interactive science curriculum for 3rd and 6th grades focused on the Guadalupe River.
