Organizational InformationType of Environmental Education Provider: Not for Profit Mission Statement: Celebrating our 20th anniversary year, The Center for Ecosystem Survival (CES) is dedicated to creating global partnerships to inspire broadbased participation in the preservation of biological diversity through ecosystem conservation world-wide. The goals of CES are to increase individual participation in and awareness of worldwide conservation by providing an opportunity for direct action through the Adopt An Acre® and Adopt A Reef® programs. As a means of reaching out to and educating the public, we offer a traveling Insect Discovery Lab designed to teach students at all levels about scientific observation, insect identification, natural history, biodiversity, ecosystems, and conservation. Students have the chance to touch and interact with live arthropods, providing a hands-on, engaging learning experience.
