Mission Statement: The Hat Creek Radio Observatory (HCRO) is located in Hat Creek, California and is home of the Allen Telescope Array (ATA).The ATA is a joint project between the SETI Institute and the Radio Astronomy Lab. The ATA is currently under construction. The observatory has been used to study radio emissions from the cosmos for over 40 years. The ATA will be used simultaneously for SETI searches and cutting-edge radio astronomy.
